About the team
The CMS (Combat Management System) Segment within our Naval organization is responsible for the development of Combat & Information Management Systems for naval vessels and their integration with sensor and weapons systems. These complex systems incorporate advanced solutions in the field of information processing, information management, user interaction and sensor and weapons control. As such, our TACTICOS CMS offers essential support for missions ranging from combating piracy to defense against long-range missiles.
The CMS segment is responsible for the engineering and delivery of qualified software and hardware.
About your future job
As Delivery Manager TACTICOS you are responsible for the delivery of TACTICOS CMS solutions to customer projects. You will supervise all activities required to deliver qualified solutions, composed of already qualified hardware and software products. These products are developed in the engineering teams that are also part of the CMS segment. In particular, the delivery concerns the definition, integration, testing, qualification and delivery of a TACTICOS solution that provides the agreed value for the customer. This is done in close cooperation with the Product Program Manager, the Project Design Authority and the Test Manager.
As Delivery Manager you are responsible for
- Ensuring a controlled and predictable execution of the delivery of CMS solutions to projects;
- Managing all required TACTICOS solution integration, test and qualification activities within the time, budget and requirements constraints;
- Keeping in contact with and reporting to the relevant stakeholders, both (external) project management as well as within the segment;
- Defining, monitoring, consolidating, and reporting on progress.

- Completed Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree, for example in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar;Proven experience in project management (IPMA is a plus);

- Good interpersonal and stakeholder handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical issue on a high level;
- You have the drive to deliver robust solutions to customers and build lasting relationships;
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
